Carl Mattox
Director / Sport Administration
Carl Mattox joins Unisun Sports as a Director of Sport Administration after spending the last two years at the Atlantic Sun (ASUN) Conference as an Assistant Commissioner for Sport Administration.
At the Sun Belt, Mattox worked in the Championships department from 2022 to 2024. While there he was responsible for assisting championship administration and operations of all Sun Belt Championship events while working with coaches, officials, campus administration, and the league’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Mattox is a graduate of Mars Hill University with a degree in Business Administration and a master's in management in 2018. He then went on to receive a master's in business administration from The Langdale College of Business in May of 2022. He was a four-year football student-athlete from 2013 to 2016 at Mars Hill and a native of Athens, Georgia.
